Just a little info for our new players on a few quests to help you on your way to 50.


Lvl 15 "Rising to the Challenge" - Unlocks the challenge log, a list of challenges to give extra exp, gil and seals. Log is repeatable weekly. Quest given in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks 11, 10

Lvl 15 "Beauty is Only Scalp Deep" - Unlocks the hairdresser for making minor changes to your character's look. Quest given in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks 11, 11

Lvl 15 "Color your World" - Unlocks the ability to dye pieces of gear. Quest given in Western Thanalan 12, 14

Lvl 17 "An Ill Conceived Venture" - Unlocks retainer ventures. Quest given in all the major cities.

Lvl 20 "My Little Chocobo" - Unlocks the chocobo mount. Quest given in whichever city your initial GC resides

Lvl 20 "Hallo Halatali" - Unlocks the level 20 side story dungeon "Halatali". Quest given in Western Thanalan 11, 14

Lvl 30 "My Feisty Little Chocobo" - Unlocks your chocobo as a companion in battle. Quest given in South Shroud 17, 28

Lvl 30 "Bird in Hand" -Unlocks the ability to train and color your chocobo via the stables at the fc house. Fruits are normally available for training or coloring from the fc chest at the house just ask a member of the council if you don't have access to the page they are on. Quest given in Central Shroud

Lvl 30 "A Pup No Longer" - Unlocks the first stage of pvp. Quest given in whichever city your initial GC resides

Lvl 35 "Braving New Depths" - Unlocks the side story dungeon "Sunken Temple of Qarn". Quest given in Western Thanalan 11, 14

Lvl 38 "Dishonor Before Death" - Unlocks the side story dungeon "Cutter's Cry". Quest given in Ul'dah 13, 10

Lvl 44 "Fort of Fear" - Unlocks the side story dungeon "Dzemael Darkhold". Quest given in Coerthas 24, 28

Lvl 47 "Going for Gold" - Unlocks the side story dungeon "Aurum Vale" Quest given in Western Thanalan 11, 14
